	Doreen Marlow	The Boss
	Doreen Marlow BSc FCA founded the practice in 1991. After graduating from Leicester University in 1976, she trained and qualified with a large national firm of accountants. She gained further all-round experience working in both small and medium sized firms in Hampshire. Her expertise lies in being able to offer sound all-round business advice to clients, in a 'no nonsense' manner. She has a keen ear and a wicked sense of humour, and is always willing to listen (she even answers her calls!). In her spare time, Doreen enjoys horse riding and gardening. Click here to email her.
	Debbie Gavin	Office Manager
	Debbie Gavin FCCA studied for her Certified Accountancy exams at Allt-Yr-Yn College, Newport, South Wales. She has worked for local firms in the surrounding area before joining us as the manager in January 1998. Her main areas of expertise lie in small and medium sized businesses, but she also specializes in personal tax. Debbie defies her role as an accountant by having an exciting social life! She has many interests other than accountancy, as she is keen on scuba diving, mountain biking, skiing and travelling - although she hasn't yet managed to combine them all! Click here to email her.

	Linda Brick
	Linda Brick ACA received her degree in accountancy at Portsmouth Polytechnic. She joined a medium-sized firm in Southampton, where she qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 1992. She remained with this firm for 15 years where she specialised in payroll. She joined us as an accounts senior in August 2003. She is involved with accounts preparation, personal tax, preparation of clients' VAT returns and payroll. Her interests outside of work include cycling to keep fit and taking her mad Springer spaniel on long walks! Click here to email her.
	Louise Darley	Accounts Clerk
	Louise Darley is a great all-rounder. She is well organised and efficient, as well as being approachable and friendly. Having started as the office administrator, she has progressed through her training to become an expert in Sage and QuickBooks accounting and payroll. Her main hobby is cookery, and her experimentation with cakes and chocolate make her an extremely popular member of staff! Click here to email her.
	Philip Marlow	Network Manager
	Phil has been administering the company network and website since 2002. He has several years’ experience with web design and computer programming, and is also responsible for several weekly payrolls. In his spare time, Phil likes to play the piano and tinker with his Volkswagen Camper Van. He is currently in the final year of an undergraduate degree at the University of Portsmouth. 	Paula Byng	Office Administrator
	Paula joined us in 2007 and has many years’ experience as an administrator in the Civil Service. She qualified as an audio and medical typist for the NHS in the 1990s. Paula deals with the often overwhelming amount of paperwork and correspondence we receive in an efficient and professional manner, and is often our clients’ first port of call. In her spare time, Paula likes to read and take her dog, Billy, out for early morning walks. Interestingly, Paula also holds a City and Guilds certificate in stained glass cutting!
